12:39pm: Yay for a sucky weekend
Things that suck:

Packing an apartment in 2 days
moving everything to Ft. Wayne.
Unpacking in an evening
Coming back the next day
someone not proofreading something they promised they would
-and-
roomates that don't:
clean the bathroom. ever
put bags in the trashcan before adding garbage
don't do dishes. ever
cover food before putting it in the refridgerator
do their laundry and instead leave piles of it in the hallway
throw away junkmail. ever. it just piles up on the counter
think they should do even a little bit of the housework
-and-
being 10 minutes late for a test this morning
forgetting your ID and having to go back home (see above)
not having a #2 pencil (but having 2 mechanical pencils out of lead and missing 2 plain ones I had yesterday - b/f took one, and I left another at my desk while doing homework last night)
-and-
realising financail aid stuff is due wednesday
realising i've got to fund my entire study abroad trip via loans

12:25am: Rockapella rocks.
Well she sneaks around the world from Kiev to Carolina,
She's a sticky-fingered filcher from Berlin down to Belize,
She'll take you for a ride on a slow boat to China,
Tell me where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

Steal their Seoul in South Korea, make Antarctica cry Uncle,
From the Red Sea to Greenland they'll be singing the blues,
Well they never Arkansas her steal the Mekong from the jungle,
Tell me where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

She go from Nashville to Norway, Bonaire to Zimbabwe,
Chicago to Czechoslovakia and back!

Well she'll ransack Pakistan and run a scam in Scandinavia,
Then she'll stick 'em up Down Under and go pick-pocket Perth,
She put the Miss in misdemeanor when she stole the beans from Lima,
Tell me where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?
Oh tell me where in the world is... Oh tell me where can she be?

Ooh, Botswana to Thailand, Milan via Amsterdam,
Mali to Bali, Ohio, Oahu...!

Well she glides around the globe and she'll flimflam every nation,
She's a double-dealing diva with a taste for thievery,
Her itinerary's loaded up with moving violations,
Tell me where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

11:17pm: "I'm so blogging this"...
For Valentine's Day I got an envelope last friday.

Opening it today, it contained instructions to pick up Jenny.

Jenny had an envelope, too. Her instructions were the start of a scavenger hunt.

We went across half of campus and half an apartment complex.

Clues were related to everything from favorite football players, to Eric Estrada infomercials on at 3am, to anagrams (we listened to the DaVinci Code this weekend)and done in off rhyms. Even poor Jewish mothers in Arizona were dragged into things, though she loved it.

The last clue led to a candle lit dinner. (One votive. After all, the phrase is "candle lit" not "candles lit".)

The evening was absolutely fantastic.

And then we saw "The Pink Panther". Also funny, though more slap-sticky than I like.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

12:27pm: O.B. 1 (Outdoor Bunny, Number One)
Also: I have a bunny. She rocks. She has also acquired (for obvious reasons) the nickname "El Rabbito the Pooping Bandito". However, in the past 2 days she has managed to litterbox train herself and we are infinately pleased. She's a good bunny.

O.B. 1 aslo had a sibling called O.B. 2, but said rabbit is sadly deceased.

You Are A: Kitten!

kitty catCute as can be, kittens are playful, mischevious, and ever-curious. Kittens are often loving, but are known to scratch or bite when annoyed. These adorable animals are the most popular pets in the United States--37% of American households have at least one cat. Whether it is your gentle purr or your disarming appearance, you make a wonderful kitten.

1:46pm: I went and talked to a therapist today. It didn't turn out nearly like I'd thought. I don't know what I was afraid of, maybe accusing or judging (even though I know they're trained NOT to do that). She came across more as curious. I've got few secrets and like to talk. We got on just fine.

I was also worried about the 'she' part. I'm definately one of the guys. I don't communicate with females well. No such trouble.

I was also afraid I'd get some Freudian. Oy. That'd make for interesting talks, though. Mine deals in systems theory and cognative-behavioral stuff. Definately good for me, I think. Hopefully we can figure out how to get me motivated to do well the next 19 weeks or so. I just want to graduate in May and finish up. Maybe get a job here.

Though, I think that even when school issues resolve, it'd be nice to keep going to someone. I think everyone could benefit.

3:56pm:

All-Around Smart

You are all-around smart. Essentially, that means that you are a good combination of your own knowledge and experience, along with having learned through instruction - and you are equally as good with theoretical things as you are with real-world, applied things. You have a well-rounded brain.

20% applied intelligence

3:53pm: Soyuz
You are the Soyuz. Talk about a workhorse. You are
not versatile, you're not very brilliant, you
don't make headlines, but just about everyone
asks you to keep an eye on things and give them
a hand if things go badly. You're so reliable
most people want you to make that final touch
in their work, be in debug their software, make
sure the printouts are all finished in time,
whatever, those final, seemingly simple but
crucial steps are assigned to you without
hesitation. You were the escape and reentry
module for countless missions, including the
ISS.

9:53pm: The Justice Card
You are the Justice card. Justice preserves the
harmony of the world. Working with opposite
forces, Justice does not seek to criticize or
condemn but rather to accept. The idea behind
the card justice is that opposite forces are
complementary; you could not have good without
evil or light without darkness. Justice's
position is to make sure that if a thing is out
of balance, the weight of its energy is
realigned with its opposite force. This card is
also a card of humour, for it is in pointing
out contrary positions that humour is often
found. The attitude that is found in the
humourous person, being able to shift
perspective and flow with an instinct, is
important in the maintenance of good balance.

9:38pm: I found out today that an old friend from HS is back stateside from Afgan. It's amazing how good it feels to talk to someone like that. When everytime you see them, might be the last time you see them. I did get thinking, though. The last time you talked to *anyone* might be the last time you talk to them or the last time they talk to you.

You scored as Lara Croft. A thrill-seeking, slightly unscrupulous, tough-as-nails archaeologist, Lara Croft travels the world in search of ancient relics perhaps better left hidden. She packs two Colt .45s and has no fear of jumping off buildings, exploring creepy tombs, or taking on evil meglomaniacs bent on world domination.

10:12am: Looks like I won't be graduating in May after all. Go depression and laziness!

19th October 2005

7:02pm:
Your Birthdate: January 19

Your birth on the 19th day of the month adds a tone of independence and extra energy to your life path.
But at the same time, it poses a number of obstacles to overcome before you are able to be as independent as you would like. The number 1 energy suggests more executive ability and leadership qualities than your path may have indicated.

A birthday on the 19th of any month gives greater will power and self-confidence, and very often a rather original approach. However, a somewhat self-centered approach to life that may be in conflict with some of the other influences in your life.
This 1 energy may diminish your ability and desire to handle details, preferring instead to paint with a broad brush.

You are sensitive, but your feeling stay somewhat repressed.
You have a compelling manner that can be dominating in many situations.
You do not tend to follow convention or take advice very well.

Consequently, you tend to learn through experience; sometimes hard experiences.
The 19/1 is a loner number and you may experience feelings of being alone even if you are married.
You may take on a tendency to be nervous and angry.

Curvy and Naughty
Raw score: 59% Big Breasts, 54% Big Ass, and 52% Cute!

Thanks for taking the T and A and C test! Based on your selections, the results are clear: you show an attraction to larger breasts, larger asses, and sexier composures than others who've taken the test.

Note that you like women overall curvier than average.

My third variable, "cuteness" is a mostly objective
measure of how innocent a given model looked. It's determined by a
combination of a lot of factors: lack of dark eye makeup, facial
expression, posture, etc. If you scored high on that variable, you are
either really nice OR you're into deflowering teens. If you scored low,
you are attracted to raunchier, sexier, women. In your case, your lower than average score suggests you appreciate a sexier, naughtier look. Kudos!

Recommended Celebrities: Supermodel Laetitia Casta and Actress Angelina Jolie.

You are a Self-Discoverer

You're not religious, but you've created your own kind of spirituality.
Introspective and thoughtful, you tend to look inward for the divine.
You are distrusting of all forms of organized religion.
You especially dislike religious gurus and leaders, who you feel are charlatans.

I don't know about calling them "charlatans"....
